But how can we access God's command in times of trouble and distress like ST Yolanda gave? no communication, no electricity, no food, no water, almost everything are wiped out. No bible book, or even notepad where we used to write his Words. ST Yolanda aftermath is just a light example of what has to come in the end of the world.

Tithe to Fast

Gee.. this article was in my draft more than a year ago.. time to publish it!
This article is inspired by our third week of Friday Worship Service last January 20, 2012.. when I was scheduled to exhort tithe and offering.

Tithing: Bitter-Sweet

I will consider tithing as "bitter sweet". It's like eating bitter gourd. So FEW EAT it and MANY DEFY it because they dont know the BENEFITS they can get by consuming it, or even worse... they knew.. they just DONT like the "BITTER" taste. We normally like sweets which give toothache and triggers the famous diabetes.

A Promise of Restoration

We just came from our bible study. Everytime our Pastor will say "Be ready for you will be filled with Holy Spirit", it makes me excited because that is the only time I truly pray.. not by my own language but by speaking of tongues. But tonight was different. Why? Because I didn't pray for myself. That's true. From call to worship song:

When I went back to Doha, that was his last day in our office and he sent me his supposed to be "speech" but wasn't able to do on the wedding day:

Hi Sharon and welcome back to work!

Anyway I thought that, like a British wedding, I might have to make a speech so I prepared one just in case as below:

Maramami na akong nakilala at nakasalamuha na mga Filipino sa aking paglalakbay sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo. At masasabi ko na lahat ay mabait, magalang, mapagbigay, masiyahin at higit sa lahat ay magaganda – sa loob at labas.

Isa pong napakalaking karangalan na ako ay maimbitahan sa kasalang ito. Kinailangan kong bumiyahe ng limang libong kilometro mula sa opisina kung saan ako nagtatrabaho at sampung libong kilometro mula sa aking bayan upang masilayan ang pinagmulan ng napakabubuting tao.
Sa napakagandang bride na si Sharon at poging poging grrom na si Khits, ipagdiwang ninyo ang araw na ito at ang lahat ng araw na inyong pagsasaluhan. Nawa ay pagpalain kayo ng Poong Maykapal. Maraming salamt po sa inyong lahat at magandang gabi!

Surprised Hen Party

Before we left to Philippines, gals CPO managed to plan a surprised hen party for me. It's not too  surprise, because at first they did actually planned to do it on Saturday but something came up and did not happened. Then Sunday came, few people from the office asked me on how was it, if I enjoyed the party - it made me confuse as I have no idea what they're talking about!
